My second post about a concert... Virus got us Norah Jones tickets. We spent most of the day doing some DIY and were very tired but we knew the concert was seated so considering how tired we were that was definately a blessing... We got there well before time and decided to go for a drink in a close by pub. It wasnt very cold and we sat outside and just looked at the people...we were trying to figure out why people was queuing if the seats were allocated... we checked our tickets to make sure we werent wrong and we werent...so we just carry on seating there... Then we realised we never ever bump into anyone we know in a concert, why would that be? people we know doesnt like concerts as much as we do? is it our music taste? is not that different i'll say is actually quiet wide so ... uhmm.. who knows!?. Time to get in... seats were upstairs we thought they were down but the view wasnt bad... The support act started (mward) it was ok, the guy has a nice voice and plays the guitar very well... its a solo act which makes it a bit dull for me at times (He and someone else i think ill prefer... )guy said hello and started talking and a girl came out, she was wearing jeans, a plain two colours top and high heels, hair in a pony tale... it was quiet dark. She started singing and Virus and I looked at eachother.. hold on... is that Norah Jones?!? nooooo.. couldnt be... she didnt even say Hello? and there is no band, no lights no nothing.... the song ended and the guy said "Ladies and Gentleman" Norah Jones! people applauded but i think some were as confused as i was.. I couldnt help but think, Norah i love your voice and like your songs, and maybe you are timid, i really dont know but you ought to say Hello!?!?... people came and pay to see you!? song finished and she just walked back in..(up to this point, not a word, nothing) weird... guy finished playing. After a bit, lights went on, curtains open, there were some stars hanging from the ceiling.. a piano in the middle, a band in the back... ah now we are talking!! Norah comes out wearing a red dress, she says Hello... she says thanks for coming, she jokes a bit! aha! im happy now... i like you again Norah.. LOL... the concert carried on, starting with ' Come away with me' and after a mixture of songs from different cd's.... cool.... There was a chinese looking girl in the band that amazed us, she played the piano, the bass, did the back voice, the flute?! i mean.. proper Multi tasking this was! :)
It was quiet dark and i couldnt take many pictures...my camera is not thaaaaaaat good... so here is a sepia one i did and in my blog in spanish there is a colour one... (the red spot is Norah.. i swear!) lol....
