Mad & Bad... Animation...

I recently came across this animation called 'Mad & Bad', it reminded me of 'Tom & Jerry', 'Coyote & Road runner'... erghh yes, im old. Anyway, very well done i thought! Episodes are available online and can be seen on their website Mad & Bad, here is one i liked! :0)

Being Gay...

Im gay and this aren't really breaking news, however there is people that knows and people that dont.. I honestly feel i dont have to tell everyone on the world about it and somehow i don't fancy writting on a sticker and pasting it on my forehead, should i? I know many gay people may read this and think..'oh well here we go ..another confused girl, she is just still in the closet, going through a phase...etc' it seems that some gay people (please note i dont mean ALL!) thinks that to come out means to tell the world AND to go to gay places all the time, watch gay movies, eat gay food (im exagerating i know) but basically do all gay full stop...
I do enjoy gay programs and places... please dont take me wrong... i just honestly cant live as if that was it all.. I dont like excluding myself from the rest of the world and neither think i should.. I do agree to a certain extent the 'visibility' is needed and i do understand many stereotypes are there due to the fact only certain people will be openly gay, hence people has created stereotypes based on them and asumes we all look, behave,do the same things...etc etc so i know and i guess im not helping by not being very open about it..?!?

To conclude i could say I dont like stereotypes and i try as much as i can to dont put people i know in boxes, however i admit these boxes are part of life and even though i may not like them i have many times used them, and most probably will carry on doing so... Then... talking about boxes, I've been in quiet a few! I have been a happy straight girl with a lovely boyfriend, happy single girl, bisexual (when i admited i liked women thats what i called myself), lesbian now (i guess as my partner is a women)... however i still do find man attractive...so the question will be! am i still part of the previous box? or the fact I've been in a relationship for years keeps me in the latter? LOL..see! thats why i hate these boxes... I'm just a women who happened to fall in love with another one.. and is currently happy, full stop! :)

New Look!

I cant believe is flipping midnight and im still connected due to the blog! i mean.. i wanted to do something quick and ive probably worked harder on changing the template than what i would have done if i were getting paid for it! lol..kidding! i always work hard! cough, cough .. anyway time for me to go to bed now.. im sleepy but i love the new look... !!! (Will definately be posting something interesting here...soon! i promise!)

Getting Old!

I recently added a post to my blog in spanish and I just noticed i did not add it here...as i know there will be more to follow! Im adding it here!. Im getting old! and thats what my post was about. From time to time i get emails with jokes etc with lists of things that make u realise you are getting old. This emails are quiet funny but i have my own list... which makes it undoubtedly.. IM GETTING OLD... FULL STOP! and these are some of the things that make me notice: (Lets keeps the physical/Bodily side of things out! they are there im just ignoring them LOL!)

• When i go shopping i cant help it but have a look at the 'home' section.. and i go.. ohhh how nice! wow, this is useful! errghhhh WHAT? i wouldnt give a !"£$ before!
• I'm well into knowing what is healthy and what isn't? nutrition,weight,hours of sleep are topics i'll talk about ...
• When i see babies! i go.. awwww... that baby is gorgeous! awww.. look at those tiny little shoes! how cute! i mean..! i would probably smile before! now i want to hold them etc! Nooooooooooooooo

I am defitately getting old! Lets hope i have as much energy as the rappin granny! LOL! ... Kneel To The Granny! ELENGI THE GRANNY! GO GRANNY...GO GRANNY ...GO GO ... ha ha ha ha....

Wie Gehts?

I have decided to learn another language, so I am now taking German classes. Why German? errhgg uhmmmm I dont know! why not!?

I just wanted to learn another language and kept trying to make my mind up... This year i thought i will finally make a start... so i checked what was available that suited my free time (not that im really busy) and voila! German it was...

so far.. i am able to count! do you want to see?

Bad Hair day...

I've got a theory, well two... i dont have bad hair days.. my hair simply has its own personality... or it changes depending of what i do in my dreams...
What about that?... today is a clear example! yesterday i spent some time doing my hair... for what? that is what i wonder!!
This morning i look as if i was in a bonfire night and the fireworks were coming out of my head!...
I'm personally in a good mood but i dont think my hair is.... actually i just looked at myself in the mirror for the second time and i look like EINSTEN!!

Thats right! i wonder if thats my hair's personality!? thing is... I'm a women and im definately NOT as clever as he was.... greeeaaat i just got the Einsten hair then, the hair and nothing else....

I was reading the news yesterday and found a new about blogger, it reads:
"Google's Blogger site is being used by malicious hackers who are posting fake entries to some blogs. The fake entries contain weblinks that lead to booby-trapped downloads that could infect a Windows PC."

So, if you have a blogger account, keep a close eye on it!

Norah Jones

My second post about a concert... Virus got us Norah Jones tickets. We spent most of the day doing some DIY and were very tired but we knew the concert was seated so considering how tired we were that was definately a blessing... We got there well before time and decided to go for a drink in a close by pub. It wasnt very cold and we sat outside and just looked at the people...we were trying to figure out why people was queuing if the seats were allocated... we checked our tickets to make sure we werent wrong and we werent...so we just carry on seating there... Then we realised we never ever bump into anyone we know in a concert, why would that be? people we know doesnt like concerts as much as we do? is it our music taste? is not that different i'll say is actually quiet wide so ... uhmm.. who knows!?. Time to get in... seats were upstairs we thought they were down but the view wasnt bad... The support act started (mward) it was ok, the guy has a nice voice and plays the guitar very well... its a solo act which makes it a bit dull for me at times (He and someone else i think ill prefer... )guy said hello and started talking and a girl came out, she was wearing jeans, a plain two colours top and high heels, hair in a pony tale... it was quiet dark. She started singing and Virus and I looked at eachother.. hold on... is that Norah Jones?!? nooooo.. couldnt be... she didnt even say Hello? and there is no band, no lights no nothing.... the song ended and the guy said "Ladies and Gentleman" Norah Jones! people applauded but i think some were as confused as i was.. I couldnt help but think, Norah i love your voice and like your songs, and maybe you are timid, i really dont know but you ought to say Hello!?!?... people came and pay to see you!? song finished and she just walked back in..(up to this point, not a word, nothing) weird... guy finished playing. After a bit, lights went on, curtains open, there were some stars hanging from the ceiling.. a piano in the middle, a band in the back... ah now we are talking!! Norah comes out wearing a red dress, she says Hello... she says thanks for coming, she jokes a bit! aha! im happy now... i like you again Norah.. LOL... the concert carried on, starting with ' Come away with me' and after a mixture of songs from different cd's.... cool.... There was a chinese looking girl in the band that amazed us, she played the piano, the bass, did the back voice, the flute?! i mean.. proper Multi tasking this was! :)

It was quiet dark and i couldnt take many pictures...my camera is not thaaaaaaat good... so here is a sepia one i did and in my blog in spanish there is a colour one... (the red spot is Norah.. i swear!) lol....

Ron Mueck- Sculptor

I recently got a link about Ron Mueck...at first when i was looking at them i thought it was all about edited pictures ... I was wrong! they are actual sculptures... I read a bit about him and the fact he started working with model,props etc.. The attention to detail is amazing, I will love to see them!... So,something to share!

Dolores O'Riordan

I love music! a very very very common phrase... so i promise im not going to finish this sentence with a: no but i reaaaaaaally do. LOL!

Simply i really enjoy music! Music chills me out... disconnects me... whenever i need to chill or cheer up i just need to listen or dance to some music! If there was ever a cartoon character created based on me it would have to have a pair of earphones on or very near by...

I'll easily spend my money going to concerts... for me is a very well spent money! what can i say.. music just does the trick! Whenever i go to a concert i think, 'if i had a blog i could make a post about this one!.. so now that i have one i thought i ll start making posts about them... I will be posting about a few i have had the chance to go to, recently or ages ago..it doesnt matter! so this is my first one and its about Dolores O'Riordan's concert!! Dolores is the lead singer of a band i really like (The cramberries).She recently released her first solo album called 'Ordinary day' and its pretty good! I must admit i had my doubts about going to this one or not, she only has one album and i coudlnt work out if she was going to sing the whole album?!? or what? finnally we went....and Thanks God we did! Loved the concert, she sang loads of songs from The Cramberries! After all they are her songs! (not sure how i didnt work that out).. Also sang the new ones... a mixture.

We jumped, sang, danced, screamed! The room was small and we were very near the stage... There was a small group near us and they were very funny! i love this small venues! specially with someone as famous as her on stage! It was a fantastic night... definately a night to remember... This is one of our piccies from that night...

The Simpsons!

Kaleidoscope

There was a Kaleidoscope that was able to look through itself..it moved and changed its colours and shapes, stopped and stared at them for a while, It was not able to decide what colour or shape it preferred, the Kaleidoscope would always find something nice on all of the different colours and shapes...It kind of like them all! I'm myself somewhat like that Kaleidoscope.

If you dont know what a Kaleidoscope is or the name rings a bell but cant remember. It's a tube that contains mirrors and pebless etc. Basically you look through it and as you move it, the reflection on the inside forms different shapes and colours. I was only small the first time i saw one and at the time i thought...This is magic! I remember asking the guy that had it on the shop, Who'd made it. He said: me... and I thought! woah! This guy is a genious, a magician! his name must be Merlin!? lol.. My mum bought me that one.. :)

Now i know how they are made and the fact its not magic but somethingvery beautiful and creative someone from Scotland (I just found that out) came up with. Anyway! i came across this little game on the internet that allows you to quickly build your own virtual kaleidoscope! I still admire the people that can build their own! The site also has other little games that im just having a look at!

My Blogs...

It wasn't till very recently.. In fact, this week!that i started my blogs...Blogs, yes. I couldnt just start one and wait to see how it went.. No,no no.. its me who we are talking about, so lets make ita bit complicated...thats how I ended up with not one but two blogs... Oh!Hold on ... two in two different languages!
One of the consequences of my cleverness (not) is that now i feel ive got to write!after all..it's a blog right?
It took me ages as it is just to figure out, what to call them, Is the name available? How to write? what about the initial message? What template do i choose?What about the font? Do i allow comments? Do I? Do i have coffe or tea? (oh sorry wrong thought)
anyway what can i say.. Ill do my best to try and write whenever,whatever and i Apologize in advance for the Gramma and puntuaction mistakes i know i'llbe making! but hey... Its only a blog, isnt? isnt? LOL

Spider pig.. Spider Pig..

This weekend I went to the cinema and watched "The Simpsons"... to be honest I went to watch it because i thought it was a must... but I wasn't really expecting much. The thing is that I came out the cinema and I couldn't stop humming.. spider pig..spider pig...

I was at work today and couldnt stop smiling and going.. spider pig..spider pig.. That was one of the best bits.. There are others i really, really liked.. The Green Day concert, the bit were they are in the room and the birds come in! ... well I'm going to stop now because i dont want to spoil it for all the ones that have not seen it yet and may end up reading this post! (that if anyone actually reads it)!
